Counselling and psychotherapy for when something in your life needs to change

I work with people who want to understand themselves better, make sense of difficulties in their emotions and relationships, and develop sense of purpose.

My approach is informed by Adlerian psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and other therapeutic traditions, combining psychological depth with practical ways of making change. I tailor therapy to the individual, working with what you need rather than following a fixed formula.

Psychotherapy gives you time and space to think about what is happening in your life with someone who can help you see things from a different perspective. Exploring experiences, relationships and patterns in a confidential space with a therapist can help you make greater sense of yourself and find different ways forward.

We can use an initial conversation to explore what is bringing you to therapy and whether I might be the right person to help.

You might be looking for therapy because…

· Anxiety, worry or overthinking are taking up too much space in your life

· You feel discouraged, or uncertain about the relationships in your life

· Something from the past continues to affect how you experience yourself and other people

· You struggle with low self-esteem, self-criticism, and a persistent sense that you are not enough

· You are going through a significant loss or a life transition

· You feel stuck in cycles that you understand intellectually, but cannot seem to change

I am a dedicated and experienced professional in counselling, psychotherapy, CBT and EMDR (BACP Reg, BABCP Accred). You may have a clear idea of what brings you to therapy, or you may have a sense that something is not working in your life. Together we can explore what is happening, develop a clearer understanding of what you are experiencing and consider ways of moving forward.
